Taste of Bangladesh – Policy & Terms of Service

Taste of Bangladesh is a prestigious national food and cultural festival that celebrates the rich flavors and traditions across all eight divisions of Bangladesh.

1. Introduction

All participants—including vendors, chefs, sponsors, performers, and service providers—must follow these Terms to ensure safety, organization, and professionalism throughout the event.

2. Liability & Risk Disclaimer

• The organizers are not liable for any injury, loss, theft, or damage during the event.
• Attendance and participation are strictly at your own risk.
• Participants are responsible for the safety of their equipment and materials.
• Organizers may take immediate action to ensure safety and operational control.

3. Participation Eligibility

• Sponsors must follow branding guidelines and sign partnership agreements.
• Performers must submit authentic cultural program details for approval.
• Participants must meet documentation, payment, and registration deadlines.

4. Registration & Payment Policy

• Forms must be completed with accurate information.
• Payments are non-refundable unless specially approved by organizers.
• Missing deadlines may result in cancellation without refund.

5. Food Safety & Hygiene Requirements

Personal Hygiene

• Food handlers must remain clean, wear washed clothes, and maintain trimmed nails.
• Staff must maintain hygiene during food preparation and service.

Booth & Equipment Hygiene

• Utensils, surfaces, and carts must be kept clean and sanitized.
• Newspapers are strictly prohibited for packing, storing, or serving food.
• Food must be stored and prepared hygienically.

Inspections

• Organizers may inspect food handling at any time.
• Vendors failing hygiene standards may be removed.

6. Stall Operations & Responsibilities

Equipment & Utilities

• Participants must bring their own cooking equipment.
• They must bear their own gas or fuel expenses.

Manpower

• Maximum four (4) persons allowed per stall.

Access Cards

• Participants must collect Access Cards with required information.

Operational Hours

• Opening & closing schedules must be maintained strictly.
• Early closure or late setup without permission is prohibited.

7. Pricing, Discounts & Promotions

• Vendors cannot increase food prices during the event.
• Menu prices must match organizer-approved prices.
• Vendors may need to offer discounts during promotional events.
• All must cooperate with promotional campaigns.

8. Branding, Media Rights & Intellectual Property

• Brand materials must follow guidelines.
• Organizers may use participant logos and visuals for promotions.
• By participating, you grant permission to capture and publish event media.

9. Event Schedule, Changes & Authority Rights

• Event date/time/location may change due to weather or emergencies.
• Programs and schedules may be changed without prior notice.
• Participants must comply with revised instructions.

10. Conduct & Compliance

• Professional behavior is mandatory.
• Only approved items may be sold or displayed.
• Organizers may cancel agreements for rule violations.

11. Force Majeure & Event Cancellation

• Event may be postponed or cancelled due to disasters or restrictions.
• Payments may be adjusted or carried forward.
• Voluntary withdrawals will not receive refunds.

12. Waste Management & Cleanliness

• Waste must be disposed in designated bins.
• Booths must remain clean at all times.

13. Dispute Resolution

• Disputes will first be handled through discussion.
• If unresolved, they will follow Bangladesh laws.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By registering or participating, you acknowledge that you:

✔ Accept that organizers may amend policies when required.
